Mombasa Children’s Home
Completed in 2010 at a cost of Ksh 500K
This is a facility run by the Salvation Army in Kizingo, Mombasa.
With this project we renovated two classrooms and the attached toilets and, at the back, provided a super grassed football pitch with a pair of goal-posts.
This project was managed by Sameer Sheikh (Talib’s son) who has, over the years, interacted with the children residing here, in particular by arranging football trips.
He supervised the site-works and was successful in raising donations (both in cash and materials) and was able to complete the project in a short period between his studies.
