Tudor Primary School
Completed in 2014 at a cost of Ksh 10.4M
This school was in a terrible state. The rooms were leaking such that many of the classrooms were unusable. There was no running water and the school grounds were used as a short cut by the general public.
We undertook major renovation works including new and repaired roofing, replaced the broken doors and windows, re-screeded the floor where required and painted the whole school.
With the benefit of a new borehole donated by Sips for Life, we repaired the plumbing and the toilets. New staff rooms were also created.
We introduced a new paved courtyard (including a dedicated play-area for the Nursery Block), repaired the boundary wall, added a new hedged fence, provided paved parking and new gates and planted new trees and shrubs.
